WAA wins city activity brief
Birmingham City Council has appointed WAA to develop the strategic brand proposition for the city’s new Be Active campaign.
The campaign will see a number of initiatives rolled out during 2010 and early 2011, each tasked with championing exercise and activity amongst the people of Birmingham. The campaign rollout follows a successful pilot scheme in the Ladywood, Hall Green and Perry Bar areas of the city and is inline with the national Change4Life campaigns.
Be Active is about educating, engaging and enabling the local community to be more active, promoting at least thirty minutes of exercise three times a week. The initiative also includes the provision of free swimming, group exercise classes and gym sessions to all Birmingham residents via a leisure card.
