WAA tasked with Make It Cheaper project
WAA has been appointed by Make It Cheaper to design and build a new website to generate more traffic to the company's inquiry line.
Make It Cheaper is a price comparison service aimed at SME businesses trying to cut costs, more relevant than ever in the current economy, and gives users the opportunity to get quotations based on their budgets and needs before switching suppliers or checking contract renewal dates.
WAA was tasked with creating a new website for the company, along with enhancing a logo for the business and producing an e-newsletter. The agency won the work based on its credentials and clear demonstration of the development process, rather than through developing designs or site proposals.
Jacqui Lennon, WAA managing director, said: "We applied competitor analysis to the brief, showing Make It Cheaper that other sites were similar in terms of design, colourways, imagery and messaging.
"It is important that the Make It Cheaper site has a unique look and, more importantly, boasts relevant and engaging content so that the target audience continues to visit, regardless of whether they are using the supplier-switching service.
"The site is uniquely aimed at businesses, and we felt the site needed to clarify Make It Cheaper's offering and gave users have access to advice on switching suppliers, because it is often made more complicated than it needs to be.
"When the site is completed, we will develop an internal communications plan to maximise traffic with e-newsletter templates and mail distribution systems to promote the service and advantages to SMEs," she said.
Lynette Havenga-Stokes, marketing manager at Make It Cheaper, commented: "Make It Cheaper has a valuable offering for businesses and we are confident that WAA will create a presence that is memorable, interactive and interesting for them to ensure repeated visits to the site and to ultimately result in calls to the phone lines for quotations and comparisons."
