Best Companies say we're extraordinary!

WAA is amongst the top seven per cent of places to work in the UK according to the latest study from Best Companies, the highly regarded workplace accreditation scheme.

We have been awarded the maximum possible three star rating, a ranking Best Companies describe as 'extraordinary'. Of the 800 organisations applying for accreditation, just over 400 went on to achieve star status, and of those, just 55 were awarded the maximum three stars. Judges commented that WAA was 'massively outperforming' the average standard set by companies of a similar size.

The Best Companies accreditation scheme recognises organisations committed to excellence in employee engagement. The 'Michelin Star' style award is based on an independently audited Best Companies Index (BCI) score derived from confidential employee questionnaires and a site visit to the organisation's base.

WAA will now take its place in the Best Companies Guide and official website alongside an elite group of organisations also labelled 'extraordinary' employers. An award was presented to managing director Jacqui Lennon and talent manager Sarah Asprey at a celebration lunch hosted by Best Companies in London.
