Web Developer

We have an opportunity for a Web Developer to join the team.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years experience working with Open Source technologies building websites and implementing online applications such as shopping baskets and user generated and content management systems.  

It is essential that you have experience of Flash with Actionscript, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, PHP, MySQL, along with an understanding of the issues surrounding Usability and Accessibility.

Experience of Linux, Apache and Rails is desirable but not essential, knowledge of what makes websites search engine friendly and experience of using Google Analytics would also be advantageous.

You should have excellent communication skills and be able to liaise with Graphic Designers and non technical Account Handlers to help them take a client brief and convert it into a practical website specification.
